Our board of directors are highly dedicated and passionate about what we're building together, and brings decades of experience in financial services, investment banking, and fintech.

Hugh McColl III

Hugh currently serves as a Partner at Collwick Capital, a boutique alternative investment firm. Before founding Collwick Capital, he spent 14 years in the hedge fund industry. Hugh was a private investments portfolio manager for Round Table Investment Management and McColl Brothers Lockwood, served as the COO for M&M Partners and was the CEO and Portfolio Manager for McColl Partners. From 1991 to 1996, Hugh served as the President of The Shelton Companies and CEO of Shelco, Inc.

Hugh is a current Board Member of Westrock Coffee Co., MIRA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Heritage Brands, Inc. and serves as a Senior Advisor to BBH Capital Partners. Hugh is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and received an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
David Vorhoff

David has had a long career in investment banking as both a provider of investment banking services as well as a user of such services.

Most recently, he was Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Corporate Development at Premier Inc. In this role he worked with over 100 leading investment banks nationally.

Prior to that, he was President and co-founder of McColl Partners, which he founded with former Chairman/CEO of Bank of America, Hugh McColl. As President, he helped to grow the firm dramatically over 12 years before it was sold to Deloitte to become their investment banking platform in the U.S. 

Before McColl partners, he spent several years at what is now Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s investment bank.

David is a graduate of the University of North Carolina -- Chapel Hill, where we earned both his undergraduate degree (BA) and his graduate degree (MBA).
Mark Johnson

Mark has been a Partner at TTV Capital since September 2008. He has more than 20 years of venture capital experience and more than 30 years of operating experience growing one of the most successful bill payment systems, CheckFree. His accomplishments at CheckFree include inventing consumer direct online bill payment, the development and launch of its commercial and consumer electronic funds transfer services, and electronic bill payment and presentment businesses.

In 2000, Mr. Johnson left his position as Vice Chairman of Corporate Development and Marketing to form e-RM Ventures, a private investing consultancy focused on early-stage, payments-related companies. He continued to work with CheckFree executive management on strategic issues through his Board of Director position and returned to as Vice Chairman in February 2003. Prior to joining CheckFree Corporation, Mr. Johnson worked for the Federal Reserve Bank and Bank One.

For TTV Capital, Mark is currently on the Board of Directors of Cardlytics, DefenseStorm, Onward, Micronotes, Monit, Payrailz, SmartAssets, and Springbot.

Tasnim Ghiawadwala

Tasnim re-joined Citi in October 2021 to lead the Global Commercial Bank (CCB), a key business line for Citi. CCB provides full scale banking products and services to mid-size companies across the globe delivering tailored solutions to this exciting and fast growing client base. Commercial clients represent a significant global growth opportunity as their needs closely align with Citi’s core value proposition that enables clients to grow cross-border leveraging sophisticated platforms and solutions. Tasnim is developing an ambitious growth strategy to capture these opportunities with an emphasis on talent investment, digital transformation, and expansion into new markets.

 

Most recently, Tasnim was the UK Corporate Bank Head at Barclays plc where she focused on growing target segments, building solutions, enhancing client experience and developing talent. Tasnim implemented National Industry verticals to serve Corporate clients and set-up a Public Sector business to drive growth through industry specific insights and solutions. Tasnim played a leading role in the deployment of the UK Covid Government Loan Schemes and was a strong voice for Industry during the pandemic.

Prior to Barclays, Tasnim was Head of Commercial Bank Europe, Middle East and Africa at Citi where she led Citi’s expansion of the Commercial Bank, including launching into new markets and driving innovation and digitisation. During her 20+ year career at Citi, Tasnim held roles in Investment Banking, Corporate and Commercial Banking and Senior Regional Management.

In her earlier career, Tasnim worked at JP Morgan and Commercial Union and is a Chartered Management Accountant.

Tasnim is passionate about equality in the workplace especially for women and has led several diversity initiatives and chaired various Committees across her career in banking.

She is a graduate of Kings College London and has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Management.
